Heyy Baby...this aint right!

Went to watch Heyy Baby yesterday...Sajid Khan's first attempt at direction is okay. It sounds and looks similar to his personality (well it has to doesnt it) anywayz...first and foremost...Vidya Balan looks completely wasted. She shouldnt have wasted time in signing this film, coz her expression does not change throughout the film. I mean the kind of woman who has been cheated by her lover, her father, etc..etc...rather it seems she is out for a revenge.. rather she didnt look like a mother who wants to give her baby the affection rather it seemed as if its a property she wants to own. So next time Vidya emotions and motherly emotions (or maybe she got confused between wanting to give a lover-like, mother or wife or daughter-like emotions) Yea her clothes well, they seemed as if she didnt have anything to wear (particularly where she wears that tunic top - a brown one with polka dots and all of that) that keeps on getting repeated.

Akshay Kumar is good, Fardeen is over shadowed and Riteish is well just about ok. The only actor who takes the cake and makes the movie all the more bearable is the Baby Angel. The initial half is good, keeps you laughing but the second half stretches and makes you feel now just get married for heaven's sake so we can get out of this cinema hall. Not that you cannot walk out otherwise.

Any glitches are that...when they get the baby instead of going around asking each and every girl whether they got pregnant or delivered a baby...was a bit too out of the way. Maybe they forgot the modern techniques of science. All in all they could have gone to a hospital asked for a DNA test and then voila...problem solved. But then it wouldnt look like a Hindi movie to you if they didnt keep you hanging and waiting for long.

All in all a good effort...can do better than this...maybe that would have made the movie all the more interesting.
